HECUBA by Euripides
Translation by Richard Lattimore and David Grene
This collaboration between Rachel Park and voice teacher Lisa Nathans sought to harness the power of the female voice, exploring non-traditional vocal harmonics and the peripheries of grief, rage, and femininity. The work was accompanied by a series of vocal workshops rooted in Linklater technique, with both work focused on the ensemble and others sessions which were open to the public. The piece was presented at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood.
